This was only my second film and was the only time I ever got in trouble for filming with a drone. Long Point is considered National Seashore Property and is now illegal to film. I shot this only days before the regulations changed, but didn’t finish editing it until those laws had changed. Within 3 hours of uploading the film I received a phone call from someone at the National Parks Service letting me know they were watching me and accused me of breaking the law. Once I explained that the footage had been shot before the regulation change, they backed off, but still gave me a stern warning.
