Droning Provincetown

Our Town
"Our Town" captures the essence of Provincetown. This may be my best video I have ever created and I couldn't have done it without the words of the late Hilde Oleson.
Lashes Off
On a cold, blustery day in 2019, I interviewed Provincetown legend, Ilona Royce Smithkin (1920-2021).
The History of Droning Provincetown
I first started video editing around the age of 14. I was the kid who was bullied back in those days and editing was my escape from reality along with participating in community theater. At 16, an anonymous donor gave my high school a $30,000 editing system that no one was trained in how to use. My mother and I went to the Principal’s office and were able to convince the school administration to allow me access so I could self-train. Two years later I solely produced, filmed, and edited my graduating class’s senior video.
